Questions & answers
Can programs be added to the Third Party Applications menu?
The Third Party Applications menu is a customizable drop-down that provides a company with the ability to configure a menu with just about any executable application hosted on the same application server as MoversSuite. Such common programs include TechMate, IGC QuickMove, and even the Mover’s Suite Administration tool.

What characters are not allowed for file names in Document Management?
Document Management, a MoversSuite application, provides users with quick access to a variety of order-related documents managed from a single screen. This application interfaces with Microsoft SharePoint which stores the documents, images, spreadsheets, PDFs, etc. on a server platform. To avoid having any disruptions when exchanging files between Document Management and SharePoint, we suggest that users avoid using certain characters and file extensions. The link below contains an article on what characters should be avoided when naming files and folders used with Document Management.

What should be expected from a MoversSuite upgrade?
MoversSuite provides two general releases per year, one in the spring and another in the fall, and other upgrades as needed. These upgrade releases are considered part of a contract agreement and the price is included in the annual licensing fee. There are cases where an installation or setup fee may be required to perform new functionality setup, to upgrade a test system, etc.
The spring release typically contains fixes to the application while the fall release includes major enhancements to MoversSuite. When a new piece of functionality is added to MoversSuite it may be referred to as an add-on module. Add-on modules have their own pricing and must be purchased in addition to the general service agreement. Recent add-on modules include Document Management and AR Credit & Collections.
Rarely, MoversSuite will publish a patch or a patch release. A patch can either be a full upgrade or a minor change to a stored procedure, for example. These generally affect very few customers and are considered outside of the normal development cycle.
